I posted this a little after I signed up and read about the features, as many of the "help" categories were coming up as it was being implemented, BUT just like google-it was up and going within seconds. I am sure they didn't want to leak it out prior to presenting it on their site!!!! IT IS AWESOME AND ALLOWS YOU SO MANY OPTIONS and You have control over how it works.. Well, I can guarantee you paypal/ebay are a little nervous, as they have had a monopoly and could do as they pleased to customers and when trouble arose just pay it off.... And all the competitors either were not prepared to run a system like this and/or did not have the financial backing and GOOD TRUSTWORTHY NAME... GOOGLE HAS THAT NAME WE TRUST & PAYPAL HAS LOST A LOT OF TRUST...
FYI if you are unaware of paypal's illegal/unethical practices and several lawsuits they lost including: Class Action suit (but continued to break law), small claims court (YES SMALL CLAIMS COURT, Paid off Government ( I believe on state level), and I know FBI investigated them and found that when they held the money the buyer was not at fault but PAYPAL was i believe... Check out Paypal horror stories and from what i have heard the origional site PaypalWarning.com And I believe the small claims court case was won by this individual who hosts this site Rebel: Fight the system when they're wrong Now i know that there are some disgruntled employees etc... But the shear #'s of complaints shows you that this is a MAJOR issue.. or hopefully WAS a major issue... Google Checkout aka GBUY Google Wallet... I also forsee a GBUY and Wallet coming in some form... GBUY EBAY... Look similar WOW that would be a tough fight for google, but I would be there with all I had... Google checkout paypal alternative.... GET IT NOW
